Gungans are an amphibious race, native to Naboo. There are two
types of Gungan, the large Green-skinned Ankura, (Boss Nass,) and
the thinner orange skinned Otollo. They start off life as tadpoles
and later develop a flexible skeleton of cartilage.
Gungans are sometimes seen as being comedic by nature, due to their
way of speaking and a few select members of their species, but really
they are normally rather serious in most situations.
